Why Should You Have Them?

Critical Illness

WHAT IS IT?

Being critically ill means you’ve been diagnosed with a health condition such as a heart attack, stroke, cancer, end stage renal failure, ALS, a major organ transplant, blindness or a paralysis resulting from specific underlying conditions.

BENEFIT OF HAVING IT IN YOUR POLICY?

By having Critical Illness protection built into your life insurance policy you have the peace of mind knowing you will have the ability to access some of your death benefit to help offset medical bills and other expenses that could arise from a covered critical illness.

Chronic Illness

WHAT IS IT?

Being chronically ill means you’re unable to perform two of six Activities of Daily Living (bathing, continence, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring) without assistance or you’re severely cognitively (Alzheimer’s, Dementia) impaired for a period of at least 90 days.

BENEFIT OF HAVING IT IN YOUR POLICY?

By having Chronic Illness protection built into your life insurance policy you have the peace of mind knowing you will have the ability to access some of your death benefit to help offset expenses such as home health care, paying your mortgage, or other medical expenses. This can be a great supplement to any long term care polices you may or may not own.

Terminal Illness

WHAT IS IT?

Being terminally ill means you’ve been diagnosed with a health condition that has shortened your life expectancy to 12 months or less.

BENEFIT OF HAVING IT IN YOUR POLICY?

By having Terminal Illness protection built into your life insurance policy you have the peace of mind knowing you will have the ability to access some of your death benefit to help with paying off any last minute debts such as a mortgage, take care of any final burial arrangement, or even take a vacation or two and check of a few items on your bucket list.

Waiver of Premium

WHAT IS IT?

A waiver of premium rider is an insurance policy clause that waives premium payments if the policyholder becomes critically ill, seriously injured, or disabled.

BENEFIT OF HAVING IT IN YOUR POLICY?

By having waiver of premium protection built into your life insurance policy you have the peace of mind knowing your policy premiums will be waived and your policy will remain inforce even if you were to become disabled and lose your ability to earn an income.
